Everything You Need to Know.
All STRIVE coaching clients get access to the STRIVE app, a personalised training plan updated weekly, simple nutrition tools (no strict meal plans), and weekly video or audio check-ins.
If you're on the Base plan, you'll get a 30‑minute coaching call each week and support via the STRIVE App (or WhatsApp) with replies typically within 24–48 hours.
If you choose Pro+, you'll get 60 minute weekly calls to deep dive into training, nutrition and science, daily check in messages, and priority response time, for next-level accountability and support.
Both options are designed to help you rebuild strength, confidence, and consistency, without the overwhelm. If you're a self-directed, motivated and independent person, I'd recommend Base. If you're looking for the most support possible, or you struggle to remain motivated and hold yourself accountable, Pro+ may be the better option for you.
The STRIVE coaching program is a monthly service with a minimum commitment of 1 month to begin. You have two coaching tiers to choose from:
Base Coaching – $259/month
Includes weekly 30-minute video coaching calls, personalised training in the STRIVE app, simple nutrition guidance (no meal plans), and WhatsApp support (24–48 hour reply time).
First month’s payment is required upfront to secure your place.
Pro+ Coaching – $319/month
Includes everything in the Base package, plus extended 60-minute calls and daily priority message support for deeper accountability and momentum.
First month’s payment is also required upfront.
Cancellations & Refunds (Fair Use Policy)
All coaching begins with a 1-month minimum commitment. You may cancel anytime after your first month with 14 days’ written notice via email or secure SMS.
If you cancel within the first month, no refund will be issued, as service delivery and planning begin immediately.
However, under New Zealand consumer law, you may request a full refund within 5 days of signing up, provided coaching has not yet commenced (i.e. before your onboarding call or program is delivered). All cancellation terms comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act.
The STRIVE Guarantee
If you complete 3 months of coaching and don’t reach the first realistic goal we set together at the beginning of your program, I’ll coach you for free until you do. This ensures you’re not just investing in a program, but in a result.
Once your initial 12 weeks are complete, you’re welcome to continue coaching on a month-to-month basis at your current rate, with no new commitment required and the same 14-day cancellation policy.

We start with smart programming that works around existing joint issues, and throughout your time in the program, we adjust based on how your body responds. If pain or discomfort flares up, I’ll offer tailored modifications and corrective exercise strategies, always within the professional scope of a personal trainer.
If you have a pre-existing condition or injury, you may be required to get clearance from your GP, physiotherapist, or primary healthcare provider before beginning your program. This is handled case-by-case, and it's always in your best interest to ensure you're cleared to exercise safely.
If something unexpected comes up and you need to pause coaching, please provide written notice as early as possible via email, the STRIVE app or WhatsApp. A no-show to a check-in call does not count as notice. Coaching can be paused for up to 2 weeks from the date written notice is received, unless a different arrangement is made directly with your coach.

Not at all. Whether you train in a full commercial gym, a basic home setup, or a hotel space while traveling, your plan is built around what you have access to. Gym access offers more variety, but it isn’t a barrier to progress.
For those who consistently require flexible solutions to exercise equipment, such as work travellers, backpackers or at-home fitness fanatics, you'll get suggested purchases to enhance the long term success of your program. At a minimum, you'll need some resistance bands and a stable surface (bench, chair, low table etc). For best at-home results, I typically advise clients to own an adjustable bench, resistance bands, pull-up bar and a suspension trainer.
Results will always vary from person to person depending on factors like training history, consistency, available equipment, and individual lifestyle. While coaching and programs are designed and delivered to be effective with minimal or full gym setups, no specific results can be guaranteed. Your effort, adherence, and communication all play a key role in your outcome.
No. Loosing all of your body fat would be fatal. All jokes aside, 12 weeks is ample time to make tremendous progress in loosing fat. If you have a huge goal you want to hit, such as loosing 30kg of fat, you and I will set a first-base goal that is realistic and achievable over 12 weeks. If you don't hit your goal after 12 weeks, that’s where the STRIVE Results Guarantee kicks in: provided you’ve checked in weekly and followed your plan, we coach you at no extra cost until you do. No cost, no questions, and a kickass guarantee for your results!
You can expect improvements in your strength, energy, confidence, and overall routine within the first few weeks, especially if you’ve been out of rhythm for a while. Many clients feel more focused and empowered by week 4.
More visible changes like body recomposition or fat loss usually take longer and depend heavily on your consistency with training, nutrition, and recovery habits. While I’ll guide and support you every step of the way, no specific results can be guaranteed. Your outcomes are influenced by your personal effort, adherence to the program, and individual lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, and nutrition.
This is the most commonly asked question regarding Comeback Coaching. Here's the breakdown.
The STRIVE Guarantee exists to back my program and to ensure you're not investing in false hope or hype. But for the guarantee to be fair for both of us, we set a realistic, personalised goal together during your onboarding call, one that’s challenging, measurable, and achievable within 12 weeks, based on your history and lifestyle.
What’s a realistic goal in 12 weeks?
Let’s break it down using evidence-based ranges.
For Fat Loss Clients: If your goal is fat loss, we will aim to lose bodyweight at a sustinable and evidenced-based rate.
A healthy, sustainable fat loss rate is around 0.5–1.0% of bodyweight per week. That’s roughly 0.4–0.8 kg/week for someone who weighs 80kg. Over 12 weeks, that adds up to roughly 5–10kg (assuming consistency with training and nutrition). This rate helps preserve muscle mass, maintain energy levels, and avoid rebound dieting.
For Strength or Muscle Gain Clients: If your goal is to gain strength or muscle, the realistic timeline is a little slower, but very rewarding.
Beginner to intermediate clients can expect to gain 0.25–0.5 kg of lean muscle per month, depending on age, sex, training background, and nutrition.
Strength gains tend to show faster, with many clients seeing noticeable improvements in performance within 4–6 weeks. The real goal here is consistency, improved form, and progressive overload, not just how much the scale moves.

During your first coaching call, we’ll talk through:
Your current routine, lifestyle, and history
What you’ve tried before, and what hasn’t worked
Your actual availability and willingness to train, recover, and fuel your body
From there, we’ll co-create a goal that fits within your 12-week runway. Whether it’s fat loss, strength, muscle tone, or confidence in your clothes again, the point is to set you up for a realistic comeback, not a crash diet or fantasy target.
